Tap One is a ranking game where luck spins the reels and knowledge decides when to stop them. Ten categories sit on the board, including Strongest Stands, Joestar Protagonists, Fastest Combatants, Greatest Villains, Hamon Users and Heroes of Morioh. Each one spins and lands on a character, and you choose which category to lock in with the character it is showing.
The goal is to put each character where they rank highest. Locking Jotaro under a category where he is near the top is worth far more than burning him on one where he barely places. With ten picks, one per category, it plays like a quick draft of the whole saga.
How to Play Tap One
Every unlocked category spins for about two seconds and then reveals a random character from its own list. Tap one category to lock it with the character currently on its card. That pick is final. The remaining categories spin again, and you repeat until all ten are locked.
Each category has a hidden ranking. A character who is the best in that category scores 100 points, and each place further down is worth 10 fewer. The maximum is 1,000. The rankings are kept on the server and scored there, so the answers are never in your browser.
Your total earns a Stand-themed rank: No Stand, Rookie Gangster, Stand User, Hamon User, Stand Master, Crazy Diamond, Gold Experience, The World and, at 960 or more, Star Platinum. There is no clock, and you get five games per day.
Strategy for a Higher Tap One Rank
Lock early when a reel lands on a legend. If Greatest Villains shows DIO or Strongest Stands shows a top-tier Stand, take it: waiting only gives that reel another chance to roll someone weaker.
Remember that the last category has no choice. Whatever the final reel shows is locked for you, so avoid leaving a category where most of the list is weak until the end. Take a decent roll there while you still have other reels to gamble on.
Think about who would rank near the top of each list in the story. Golden Wind rewards knowing who really held power in Passione, and Fastest Combatants rewards remembering whose Stand bends time.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many points is a perfect game?
1,000: ten categories, each locked with its top-ranked character.
Is there a timer?
No. Take as long as you like between spins; only your picks count.
Can I undo a lock?
No. Tapping a category locks it for the rest of the game.
Where can I see the full rankings?
They are not published. Scoring happens on the server so the game stays a real test of knowledge.
