JoJo Memory Cards is a concentration game with a JoJo twist: the two cards in a pair are usually not the same picture. Jonathan might pair with Dio, Joseph with his grandson Jotaro, Johnny with Gyro. Each card has exactly one partner, linked by a real connection from the series, so remembering where the cards are is only half the challenge.

The board is a daily. Every player gets the same sixteen cards in the same positions, and the full run is timed for the daily leaderboard. It is a relaxed game to play with a coffee, but a fast, clean clear takes both memory and a decent knowledge of the Joestar saga.

How to Play JoJo Memory Cards

When the board opens, all sixteen cards are shown face up for about three seconds so you can memorise them. Then they flip over. Tap two cards to turn them. If they are connected, they stay face up, you earn 10 points and a banner tells you why they matched, for example the family, the affiliation or the rivalry that links them. If not, they flip back after a second.

The eight pairs mix several kinds of link. There are famous duos and rivalries, siblings, two members of the same family or affiliation, two Pillar Men, characters from the same Part or of the same non-human race, Hamon and Spin users, and sometimes the same character twice. Every card belongs to exactly one pair.

Your run is measured by moves and time. Each pair of flipped cards counts as one move. Clear all eight pairs to finish; the board is one play per day and resets at midnight UTC.

Tips for Clearing the Board Faster

Use the three-second preview to spot likely pairs, not to memorise every position. If you see DIO and Giorno on the same board, the father and son link is a strong bet, so remember those two locations first.

When you flip a card with an obvious partner, go straight for that partner instead of flipping a random second card. When you flip a card with no clear link, use the second flip to uncover something new, so a miss at least adds information.

Think in categories when you are stuck. Two characters from Golden Wind, two vampires, or two Joestar Group members could be the link, so scan what you have seen for anything that shares a Part, a family or a team.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why don't the two cards in a pair look the same?

Pairs are connections, not copies. Each card's partner shares a family, affiliation, rivalry, race, Part or another link from the series with it.

How many cards are there?

Sixteen cards, making eight pairs.

How long is the preview?

About three seconds, then every card flips face down.

How is my run scored?

Each match is worth 10 points, and the run records your moves and your time.

Can I play more than once a day?

No. Memory Cards is a daily board, with a new one at midnight UTC.
