Higher or Lower is the quickest of the JoJo games online here: two characters, one question. Can Josuke's Crazy Diamond outmuscle Okuyasu's The Hand? Does Lisa Lisa outrank Caesar? Each card shows a Fighting Spirit value, the power number used across the site, and you decide whether the next character's is higher or lower.
It is a daily score attack. You get one timed run a day, two minutes on the clock, and every correct call is a point. Signed-in players land on the daily leaderboard, and your score also earns a JoJo-flavoured rank that climbs from Rookie Stand User all the way to The Strongest.
How to Play JoJo Higher or Lower
The current character's Fighting Spirit is on show; the next character's is hidden. Tap Higher or Lower. If you are right, the hidden value is revealed, you score a point and the next character slides in. If both share the same value, the guess counts as correct either way. Characters do not repeat within a run until the whole pool has been used.
The daily run has a two-minute countdown and a spare life. On your first miss the clock pauses and you can spend the life to keep the same run going with a fresh pair; if the run ends before you use it, the life buys a second daily attempt instead. The life resets at midnight UTC.
Once the daily is done, Classic mode offers two more runs with no clock and one extra life each. Classic still counts toward your stats and XP but never touches the daily leaderboard. Ranks unlock at 1, 3, 5, 8, 12, 17, 23, 30, 38 and 47 points, from Novice Stand User through Hamon Master, Awakened Pillar Man and Heaven Ascended to The Strongest.
How to Build a Long Streak
Think in tiers. Main villains and JoJos with late-Part Stands, such as DIO, Diavolo, Pucci and Jotaro, sit near the top of the scale, while civilians, children and minor footsoldiers sit near the bottom. When a card is clearly at one extreme, the call is easy; save your thinking time for the middle.
The scale grows steeply, so mid-tier values are closer together than they look. Two supporting fighters from different Parts can sit surprisingly close, while the jump into the top tier is huge. When two mid-tier fighters meet, lean on what they achieved in the story rather than how cool their Stand is.
Watch the clock, not just the cards. Two minutes is enough for a big score only if you answer the obvious pairs instantly.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does Fighting Spirit mean?
It is the site's power value for each character, shown as FS. Higher or Lower compares these numbers.
How long is a daily run?
Two minutes. A run ends when time runs out or when you miss without a spare life.
What happens on a tie?
If both characters have the same Fighting Spirit, either answer counts as correct.
What is Classic mode?
Two extra runs a day with no timer and one extra life each. They count for stats and XP but not the daily leaderboard.

The Strongest, which needs 47 correct calls in one run.
