Guess the Quote

Guess the Quote shows you one line from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure and asks who said it. Some are battle cries every fan can hear in their head, others are quieter moments from Stone Ocean or Steel Ball Run. If you have ever quoted Joseph predicting someone's next line, you are going to enjoy this one.

It is a daily game with one quote for everyone, drawn from a curated set of lines across all nine Parts. Every quote is dealt once before any comes back, so the answer on your screen is the same one your friends are arguing about. It sits somewhere between a jojo quiz and a listening test, with every line shown in English translation.

Read the quote under 'Who said this?'. Type a character's name and choose from the suggestions, which list only characters who have a line in the game. Press Enter or Submit to lock in your answer. You have four attempts.

Many quotes come with an optional hint that you can show or hide at any time, such as 'Spoken by a Ripple warrior with a star-shaped birthmark'. Using the hint is free and does not reduce your score.

Guess correctly and the game shows who said it and how many attempts it took. Run out of attempts or give up and the answer is revealed. Your daily streak updates, signed-in players appear on the leaderboard ranked by attempts and then time, and a new quote arrives at midnight UTC.

Listen for the voice. Dio talks down to everyone, Joseph taunts and jokes, Jotaro is blunt and short, Giorno speaks about dreams and resolve, and Kira talks about wanting a quiet life. Tone narrows the field before the content does, and a signature phrase or battle cry usually gives the speaker away completely.

Look for setting clues. Mentions of gentlemen and Ripple energy point to the first two Parts, gang loyalty and the Boss point to Golden Wind, prison points to Stone Ocean and horses or the race point to Steel Ball Run.

Try the hint before your second guess, not after your last. It costs nothing, and a wrong guess spends one of only four attempts.
